StraitsX, a stablecoin-native settlement layer, has accelerated its Asia expansion with a $10 million strategic investment from UQPAY, a cross-border payment solutions provider. The funding round also saw continued support from NTT DOCOMO, Japan's leading mobile operator. This capital infusion strengthens StraitsX's ability to bridge stablecoin and fiat payment networks across enterprise and institutional use cases.

The partnership signals growing convergence between Web3 infrastructure and traditional finance. StraitsX aims to transition from a Southeast Asian stablecoin pioneer to a global leader in regulated digital payments. The platform's XUSD and XSGD stablecoins are positioned as foundational infrastructure for cross-border settlements throughout Asian markets.
